The Future Generations Commissioner for Wales is the statutory office created by the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 – the only such office in the UK. It holds Welsh public bodies to account against seven wellbeing goals and five ways of working.
Being a contracted delivery partner means our methodology, our content and our bilingual delivery have already been signed off by that office. For councils outside Wales, it’s a useful proxy: we already meet a higher bar than most procurement teams need us to meet.

One Earth Education supported the Future Generations Commissioner over twelve months to measure the carbon footprint of the office, prepare a carbon emissions reduction plan and develop bespoke, CPD-accredited climate literacy across the team. The whole process was collaborative, informative and engaging, and really helped us to move forward on our decarbonisation journey.

Being a contracted delivery partner means our work has been checked and signed off by the most demanding sustainability office in the UK. For councils, it’s a signal that we already meet the bar your monitoring and audit teams are working to.
Yes – bilingual English / Cymraeg is how we work by default. Welsh-language materials, Welsh-speaking facilitators, and full alignment with the Welsh Language Standards and the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act. The Commissioner relationship makes this a default, not a translation layer.
Yes – most of our council work is co-delivered. We’ve worked alongside FGCW, Cadwyn Clwyd, GMLPF, Liverpool City Council and the Welsh Government. We sit alongside your in-house teams and existing partners rather than displacing them.
We sit on several procurement frameworks (CCS RM6263, Welsh Government NPS, Crescent Purchasing Consortium). Direct award is possible up to threshold; mini-competition above. We’re also happy to be added to your council’s dynamic purchasing system if that’s simpler — just send us the link.
Two to four weeks from a signed PO to first delivery, depending on scale. We hold spare capacity for in-year programmes — particularly where there’s a Q4 underspend that needs to land before year-end.
