Surface transport is now the single largest source of UK emissions, and logistics operators are at the centre of every credible reduction pathway. Customers, councils and lenders are now scoring fleets directly on carbon.
Industry analysis like ERM’s 10 Sustainability Trends Shaping the Logistics Industry sets out exactly where the sector is heading. The UK’s wider trajectory is laid out in the House of Commons Library research on Government policy on net zero by 2050 — including transport-specific milestones.
This course gives logistics teams fleet-decarbonisation literacy, alternative-fuel and electrification fluency, and practical reduction levers for the operations they already run.
