UK buildings account for around 40% of total emissions — and the property sector is being asked to deliver an outsized share of the country’s net-zero target. That pressure is now showing up in tenant demands, investor due diligence and regulation.
Industry guidance like the Concept360 Sustainable Property Management framework sets out what good practice looks like in day-to-day operations. The UK government’s Net Zero Strategy turns those expectations into hard targets — particularly for non-domestic buildings.
