For teams

Train your telecoms team.

Pricing scales with team size. Tell us how many people you’d like to enrol and we’ll come back with a plan within one working day.

Sustainable telecoms is not about marginal savings — it's about radically rethinking the energy intensity of the networks the world now relies on.

Course intro · 90 seconds

Watch the course in 90 seconds.

A short animated walkthrough of what your team will learn, who teaches it, and why it’s pitched at owners and directors who actually have to sign the strategy off.

Hit play and the course intro tells you the rest in less time than it takes to make a coffee.

01 / Why this course

Networks are growing fast. So are their emissions.

Telecoms infrastructure is now a substantial slice of national electricity demand — and that demand is rising as data, 5G and connected services expand. Operators are being asked to grow capacity and shrink emissions at the same time.

Industry analysis like ING Wholesale Banking’s research on Sustainable Telecoms and Reducing Carbon sets out where the levers actually sit. UK regulator Ofcom’s approach to sustainability turns those levers into expectations operators are now reporting against.

This course gives telecoms teams network-energy literacy, practical reduction levers and credible reporting for the operators, regulators and customers who depend on them.

02 / Curriculum

Three modules. From climate science to network decarbonisation.

Self-paced · Worksheets included · CPD-accredited certification

M.01

Climate Change & Telecoms

Where telecoms sits in the emissions league — radio access, core networks, data centres, customer premises equipment.

M.02

Sustainable Practice in Telecoms

Energy efficiency in networks, hardware lifecycle, e-waste, sustainable procurement and supplier engagement.

M.03

Net Zero in Connectivity

Renewables, on-site generation, AI-driven optimisation, and credible reporting to regulators and corporate customers.

03 / Learning outcomes

Six things your telecoms team can do by the end.

OUT.01

Explain climate change & its impact on telecoms

Articulate the science, regulation and customer expectations now shaping the sector.

OUT.02

Identify the network's environmental footprint

Quantify electricity demand and embodied carbon across radio, core, data centres and CPE.

OUT.03

Cut energy intensity in networks

Apply sleep modes, AI-driven optimisation, cooling efficiency and modernisation programmes.

OUT.04

Manage hardware sustainably

Implement circular procurement, refurbishment, take-back and responsible e-waste.

OUT.05

Power networks with clean electricity

Plan PPAs, on-site renewables and decarbonised back-up power for sites and data centres.

OUT.06

Report progress to Ofcom and corporate customers

Deliver the data and narrative regulators and B2B buyers are now formally requesting.
